Step1 Warm up.
1.What’s your name? Nice to meet you. How are you?...
2.What’s this/that on your desk? May I have a …?
3.Do you like skating/swimming/playing basketball?
Yes, I do./No, I don’t. Oh, me too.
Step2 Presentation.
1. Boys and girls, do you like toys?
Me, too. And I have some toys here. Let’s look.
2. CAI shows a puppet. Can you tell me what’s this?
If you don’t know you can say it in Chinese.
Do you want to know what’s this in English? It’s a puppet.
3. What’s this in English? It’s a car.
What’s that in English? It’s a bus.
What’s that in English? It’s a bike.
4. What are they in English? Is it a bike? Oh, no. They are bikes.
Do you like bikes? Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
Do you like cars/buses? Who can spell “buses”?
5. Do you like puzzles? “puzzle”, do you understand? Read and spell.
6. Look what’s this in English? It’s a balloon.
Liu Tao and Mike are talking about balloons. Can you read?
Show a short passage then try to act.
7. Mike doesn’t like balloons, he likes puzzles.
